The municipal executive is made up of the following three (3) members: the Mayor of the Commune of Djohong; the Deputy Mayor in charge of Urbanisation and Infrastructures; the Deputy Mayor in charge of Socio-economic Affairs.
The municipal executive of the Commune of Djohong has the following responsibilities:
1° Implementing government policies;
2° Disseminate the regulations and decisions of the Djohong Commune Council and call on the administrative bodies of the Djohong Commune and the population to comply with them;
3° Prepare the strategic development plan and its implementation and submit it to the Board for approval;
4° Prepare the draft budget of the Commune of Djohong and present it to the Council of the Commune of Djohong for approval of the budget;
5° To monitor the implementation of the budget and submit a report to the Board;
6° Implement strategies to ensure the safety of people and property;
7° Preparing and implementing the land use and town planning master plan, the local land use plan, the specific land use plan and the subdivision plan for the Commune of Djohong, in accordance with the laws in force;
8° To promote and monitor investment activities in the Commune of Djohong;
9° Promoting infrastructure and urbanisation in the Commune of Djohong and monitoring their management;
10° To provide guidelines for setting up infrastructure in the Commune of Djohong;
11° Ensure the implementation of programmes and strategies relating to social protection and economic development and monitor their implementation;
12° To approve the sale of movable property;
13° To submit to the Council Bureau the items it deems appropriate for inclusion on the Council agenda;
14° Implement the resolutions resulting from the collaboration between the Commune of Djohong and the other government bodies operating in the Commune of Djohong;
15° Prepare and submit a quarterly and annual activity report to the Djohong Commune Council and provide a copy to the Minister in charge of local government;
16° To recruit personnel for the Commune of Djohong and to supervise personnel management in accordance with the laws in force;
17° To take decisions relating to personnel management;
18° To submit to the Board a quarterly report on the implementation of the Board's decisions;
19° Carrying out any other task that may be entrusted to it by the Board.
Mr Oumarou Issama is the Chief Executive of the commune of Djohong.
Ms Wanga Aminatou is the Deputy Mayor in charge of Urbanisation and Infrastructure in the Commune of Djohong.
Mr Yamsa Alhadji is the deputy mayor in charge of socio-economic affairs in the Commune of Djohong.
